Ferdinand Marcos Jr. emphasises “practical, inclusive and measurable” leadership ahead of 47th ASEAN Summit – October 26, 2025.

President Marcos arrived in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to participate in the 47th ASEAN Summit and related summits from October 26–28.

In a statement issued by the Palace, he expressed the Philippines’ readiness to lead the grouping with initiatives that are practical, inclusive and measurable.

He reiterated that the Philippines aims to host next year’s ASEAN 2026 Summit with a framework that delivers real outcomes for people across the region.
